Week 9 Top 25

The top 3 last week all passed their tests, some close and some not so close.  However there was still plenty of action between ranked teams and there was plenty of movement in the bottom half.  Find out inside who the big winners and losers from week 9 were.

October 21 Top 25

With the lack up upsets at the top of the polls last week, most of the top 15 stays the same.  The last 10 spots though are a virtual free for all where just about any one of those teams having a claim for the 16th spot.  Despite the realtaive “excitement” that seems to be an every other week occurance, there was still some inetersting movement in my poll this week.

Top 25, October 13 Edition

At this point in the season you have to start to respect the undefeated teams regardless of conference, this week all 10 teams that are undefeated have a spot in my top 25. As for the actual results, last week featured three upsets in my top 5, six in the top 25, and another half dozen who didn’t play at all. With only 13 teams winning there was plenty of shakeup in my poll, even at the top.

Clearinghouse Chaos Top 25

It is my personal belief that polls shouldn’t be released until the first week of October. Preseason polls are more a product of hype and the previous season than what voters really think of a team. Waiting until the first week of October gives pollsters a chance to, you know, actually watch the teams play a little before they cast a vote as to who the best team in the country is. That being said since it’s the first week of October now I think it’s about time for me to release the first edition of the Clearinghouse Chaos Top 25 poll.
