Week 9 Heisman Ballot

It’s amazing how life can get in the way of things. Yesterday ended up being very busy for me, as the final days leading up to any wedding can be, so I didn’t get to my Heisman ballot like I had hoped. Thanks to an incredible performance in a huge game, and a lackluster performance by last week’s leader, there’s a new name at the top. How does the rest of the top 5 shake out? Find out inside.

Week 8 Heisman Ballot

Just like last week, this week’s Heisman ballot features many changes. It still remains quarterback heavy, but there is a new leader and an old leader has fallen off the map entirely. There is also a face inside that many don’t seem to realize is even playing college football. Post Week 7 Heisman Ballot

In light of losing track last week of where we were in the college football season, I’ve decided to change up my title wording a bit. Regardless, as for the actual content to be featured here I think you’ll find that for the first time all year you’ll find some actual shakeup in my ballot. With two of the favorites going head to head, and the third of the clear favorites having one of his worst games in two years things are certainly more interesting at the top.

Clearinghouse Chaos Heisman Ballot v2.0

Who knows how long I’ll be able to come up with catchy ways to distinguish my Heisman ballot every week, but for now I’ll just throw out something random. Perhaps simply “Clearinghouse Chaos Heisman Ballot” will suffice since it only comes out once a week. Anywho, this week’s ballot is really heavy on quarterbacks, especially those from the Big 12, and it features a change at the top as well.

Clearinghouse Chaos Heisman Ballot, Take 1

It was suggested to me last week that I start up my own Heisman watch because “every college/sports blog has one”. I tend to agree and the only reason I didn’t do one sooner was because I wanted to wait a while before I went about making these types of decisions. Much like my reasoning for not releasing a top 25 poll until the first week of October (maybe I’ll write on that later this week…) I didn’t want to start my Heisman thoughts too soon. Anywho, here’s the first installment of my personal top 5 for the 2008 Heisman Trophy.
